Email picture with iPhoto 11

Email is probably a good way to send and share pictures. But is there an easy way to directly Email pictures without bouncing from your Email application to your picture folder and back again? Definitely, there is. iPhoto 11 is just the one you need.

iPhoto 11 is a digital photograph manipulation software application which is designed to allow the importing of pictures from digital cameras, scanners, pictures and CDs and the Internet. It allows you to create and send beautiful pictures without leaving iPhoto 11.

iPhoto 11 works with popular email services like Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, Windows Live Hotmail, and AOL. It keeps track of all your email messages with photos. Therefore, it is free for you to open a sent message, make changes and share it with anyone, anytime.

After linking your preferred Email-account with iPhoto 11, you can directly send pictures from it, no need to open you Email application and look for attachment.

It is easy to add a Email account to iPhoto 11, just see the steps below:
1. Choose iPhoto > Preferences, and then click Accounts.
2. Click the Add (+) button in the lower-left corner.
3. Click Email, and then click Add.
4. Choose your email service provider.
If your service provider isn't listed, choose Other.
Type the requested information.

If you use the Mail application included with Mac OS X, some account information might be filled in already. If you're not sure what to type, contact your service provider.

In the same way, you can add other Email account. When you send an iPhoto email, you can change the outgoing account by clicking the From pop-up menu and choosing an account.

After adding a Email account to iPhoto 11, it is the time to send a picture with iPhoto 11. It is simple enough for you to send pictures with iPhoto following the instructions below:
1. Choose the pictures you want to send, you can send as many as 10 pictures each time.
Note: You can send photos from your photo library or an album, but not from a slideshow or a project (such as a book, card, or calendar).

2. In the toolbar, click the Share button in the lower-right corner of iPhoto 11, and then choose Email from the pop-up menu.

If this is the first time you're using iPhoto to email photos, select the email account you want to use, click Setup, complete the requested information, and then click Save.
If you don't see your email provider, click Cancel and follow the steps in the task above to set up your email account.
Your photos appear in the email window, presented in a theme.
