Import AVCHD M2TS to Adobe Pro Cs5 and Pro Cs4

Currently Adobe Premiere Cs5 and Cs4 are widely used by us individual movies editor, from the official site of Adobe Premiere we can clearly see that Adobe claims to support:
-M2T (Sony HDV)
-M2TS (Blu-ray BDAV MPEG-2 Transport Stream, AVCHD)

But when comes the actual situation, we still meet these questions:
1."I am experiencing multiple jumpy & sometimes repeated frames during playback on rendered AVCHD files on Premiere Pro CS4. It's really hard to catch since it happens on multiple files and the jumpiness can be like a rewind or it skips frames. It only happened after I bought a new video camera."

2."I'm soon getting a Panasonic hdc-hs300 which uses the high quality avchd format. Will I be able to edit my videos (1080p, 17mbs) on my pc using adobe premiere pro cs5 without problems? Thanks in advance."

3."I've recently purchased an awesome new camcorder, the Panasonic HDC-TM700. Records in awesome HD video, AVCHD to be exact. Problem is, very few editing programs actually support this format. I actually purchased Adobe Premiere Pro, but it doesn't work."
