Edit video on Mac OS X

First thing first, please download the Mac video editor, install it to your Mac. After launching the program, just click the "Add File" button to import the videos (single or multiple is OK) you want to edit. The loaded videos will be displayed on the right hand of the interface.

Now that the source video files have been added, you can pick any one of them and then click the "Play" button, soon afterwards, you will see two windows(the left one is for the source file while the right one for the output file). In order to trim the video, you can drag the slider to set the duration time (from starting to the end), or you can directly fill in the columns of "start time" and "end time" to get what you want.

On the left preview window, you will see a green dashed frame. To crop the video such as get rid of the unwanted part, you can drag the frame to define the cropping areas directly.

If you find the source video is too dark, too bright or whatever else, you can drag the sliders to change the brightness, contrast and saturation of the video in the "Effect" area.

To make the source video more attractive, you can apply special effect to it by choosing "old film", "emboss" or "grey" from the "Special Effect" section.

Click "Settings" button, you can customize to get video resolution, frame rate, encoder, bitrate and audio sample rate, channel, encoder and bitrate as per your need.

If you need to convert the source video to other formats or transfer it to applications/media devices, you can click the "Profile" button, choose the proper output format from the format list, and then click the "Save" button at the bottom of the interface to save the output vidoe file.
