HTC Desire HD is released Sep 2010 and Sensation is Apr 2011.There are many differences between the two ultra Smartphones, but here I will from a new buyer's prospect to compare and analyze for you which one is right for you.

From Price and iOS:

HTC Desire: $ 399-$459 Android OS v2.2
HTC Sensation: $459-$559 Android OS v2.3.2
There is less comparison between their prices, because price for each is proportional with their each related configuration like CPU, Storage, and Sensors. And the later released Sensation to take Android v2.2.2 is normal product rules.

From the above brief introduction, we can easily get that Desire HD is more an Internet Smartphone while Sensation mainly focus multimedia function. So before you buy, think clearly what function is you need the most, if you spent a lot time on surfing online, the Desire HD is more suitable; if you spent time on video and audio enjoy and is fanciers to YouTube, Facebook sharing, then just take Sensation.
